Shannon H. ...I have a couple of tutoring styles that I try to see what works best for a given student (as I know we all learn differently). For example, I learn through doing. Listening to a lecture on how to clone DNA or identify a chemical functional group through infrared spectroscopy was useless for me. I didn't understand until I did it in a laboratory setting.
