...In high school and college I tutored physics and math, then went to graduate school and spent the next decade as an airline pilot. In high school I was among the first students in Georgia to place out of first semester college freshman physics through the AP Physics exam. Once in college at Furman University in Greenville, SC, I was voted Outstanding Freshman Physics student by the faculty.

This passion led me to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech, from which I graduated in 2004. I worked as a project engineer at a local residential design firm for four years.
