Education and Experience: I am a chemistry major (junior) at Colorado School of Mines in Golden with a 3.4 GPA. I have a passion for math, science, and helping others to learn. In high school I tutored fellow students in geometry, algebra, and physics, as well as tutoring middle school students in all subject areas.

...So...why be a tutor? I started tutoring my kids in math & science when they were in middle school because it looked like they would begin to lose ground otherwise. I discovered I liked it, and would up tutoring them and their friends later on.

AlfredGeometry has been a favorite science subject since high-school; in fact it has been one of my strongest points too. I have always found a robust understanding of geometry extremely useful (and even indispensable) in physics, engineering, calculus and almost every mathematical discipline.
