If you first use what you are learning in specific, repeatable conversations, you can then adapt what you know to new situations. I'll use listening exercises, substitution drills, and readings to help make your learning flexible early on.

I began my tutoring career in 2004 in Denton, TX while attending the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science at the University of North Texas. This included volunteer tutoring at Calhoun Middle School and Denton High School in the Denton school district. The focus areas of my tutoring were math and science.

...Regarding younger students, I prefer to tutor students no younger than 11 years of age; in other words, grades 6th to 12th.
