...I have been a Wyzant tutor since December of 2015. While I love being in the classroom and having 20 or so students at a time, I have found that the opportunity to work with students one on one is a very rewarding experience. ...I stress problem solving skills and like to use demonstrations and physical models to explain abstract concepts. For example, I teach molecular shapes using marshmallows and tooth picks that a student can manipulate so see what a molecule looks like and how you could change the shape for various conditions.
