For example, students in Kindergarten will learn numbers to 100 and addition and subtraction of numbers up to 10, while in second grade they will learn to regroup to add and subtract up to three digit numbers, as well as, count up to 1000. I have experience teaching elementary math tho grades preK -3 for over 31 years.
