But I eventually came back to the elementary school level because it had become clear to me that this was where the battle was being won or lost. By the time kids reach high school and college most kids are pretty well baked.

Drew C. ...I do have a 12-hour cancellation policy, but in cases of cancellation I make sure to work out a re-scheduled session. I am very flexible in terms of the method and location of tutoring--we can work together online, in a coffee shop, at your school, or however and wherever is preferred. Kyle B. ...As the students are confused at a problem, it is good to let them explain what they are confused about. It is the teacher's job, to be patient, understand what the student is saying, and convey the message in a logical fashion for the student. This is the key to my teaching strategy and hopefully I can share this strategy with your kid!

I have worked in the alternative special education setting for 13 years and 1 year in private school. During my 13 years in Special Education, I have worked mainly with students with learning disabilities and emotional/social disorders.
