Welcome parents and students,
My name is Jeremiah and I have been teaching middle school math for the past four years. My certification consists of mathematics 4-8 with a specialty in working with low performing students. At the beginning of 2010-2011 school year, I inherited students with a 0% passing rate and on the spring 2011 TAKS assessment more than 50% of the students met standard.

...Because I know which rules are tested, I am able to focus on those rules and make this section of the test much more manageable for students. Success in ACT Science has little to do with prior knowledge of science. In fact, this section focuses on a student's ability to analyze data quickly.

...One of my developmental math students went from failing to making a B+ in just one semester! I was so proud of her, and I absolutely cannot take credit for her incredible turnaround. About 5% of it was me, just taking time to answer her questions that the instructor didn't have time to answer during class, and the rest of it was all her hard work and effort.

I have been teaching and tutoring math for almost 30 years. I am a "National Board Certified Math Teacher" and certified in Texas 4-8 and 8-12 Math. I retired from Oklahoma(yes I am a Sooner fan) two years ago and started teaching in the North Texas area.

...As a student in college working on a mathematics degree, I became so good at tutoring I was asked to tutor math in a program called Upward Bound. Through this program teachers would recommend me to students to be their tutor. I tutored with Upward Bound until I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an emphasis in Computer Science.
