Daniel M. ...Now that I am home, I am studying to go back to school for a master's in engineering. I find that many students learn by memorizing formulas and algorithms, and when they are required to build upon their knowledge, rote memorization fails them. When I teach mathematical concepts I try to allow students to see the patterns emerge without aid by showing many examples of similar problems.
