Ron C. ...When this is the case, the student will likely do better on the ACT, probably because the questions are more straight forward. The ACT math section covers trigonometry and elements of pre-calculus while the SAT goes only through algebra 2. A major difference between the SAT and the ACT is that the ACT has a science section.
