Abhiram V. ...I entered my undergraduate university with more than 50 credits from receiving 5s on many advance placement courses, including biology, chemistry, math and French. I graduated from Cornell with a 3.75 GPA and my GRE and SAT scores were both above the 90th percentile. I've also worked as an essay/resume editor, so if you need help with your applications I am a great resource for that as well.

Michael D. ...I enjoy the subject, and would be happy to help others who are taking classes in this discipline. My undergraduate degree is in Computer Science, and I started the graduate program in this field before I returned to finish in physics. As the subject matter has evolved with time, it would be best to ask me if I can help with a particular topic.

Roger M. ...Some students relate more to the language of math so I'll discuss the etymology of unique math terms. Math has a natural connection to history and science and Geometry especially connects well to the arts and architecture. I also find real-world applications for the math concepts so students see how relevant math is in their lives.

Anna H. ...I accomplish this first by identifying specific areas the student needs assistance. Then, I demonstrate how to solve example problems and request the student to attempt similar problems by themselves with my supervision. I am very patient with students, and I try multiple approaches to each problem until we find one that works for the student.

Julian C. ...I have taught both precalculus and SAT Level 2 (which covers similar material). Most of precalculus is about the basic functions: polynomial, rational, trigonometric, and exponential/logarithmic. If you know how these functions look and behave, I've found that most of the subject becomes easier. I also have a strong background in calculus, so I know what the subject is preparing you for.
