I have more years as a teacher/tutor than can be included in a simple resume. My first job, at the age of 13, was a math tutor for my school district. While I love being in the classroom and having 20 or so students at a time, I have found that the opportunity to work with students one on one is a very rewarding experience. Tutoring is a great opportunity for the tutor and student because the student's needs can be better addressed since the student is the sole focus of tutoring sessions. (read more)
