Sal V. ...I agree strongly with psychologist Carol Dweck that success has to little to do with inherent "smartness" and comes from effort, practice and trying new things. I prefer to allow students to explore multiple ways to solve a given problem. I believe that reasoning out a formula is far better than memorizing it.
