Linear algebra is often used as a gateway to the more proof-based aspects of math, and I like how a good course teaches both concrete concepts while also scaffolding an understanding of proof in general. ...My approach with students is to try to work with them to solve the problems. I show them the basics of their questions and work from there to help them fully comprehend what the questions want you to do. I need to show the students how to solve the problems on their own. (read more)
