Jem C. ...I teach reading music in both treble and bass clefs, time and key signatures. I also teach Solfege (Do, Re Mi..) and intervals to help with correct pitch. I use IPA to teach correct pronunciation of foreign language lyrics (particularly Latin). I have a portable keyboard to bring to lessons and music if the student doesn't have their own selections that they wish to learn.

Ron C. ...Also, the ACT covers trig and elements of pre-calculus while the SAT goes only through Algebra 2. A major difference between the SAT and the ACT is that the ACT has a science section. Without good reading and analytical skills, it is hard to score well on the ACT science test.
