Cheryl N. ...In pre-Algebra, understanding WHY a solution works is very important. An in-depth understanding of solutions makes them much easier to understand and apply to other types of problems. That's why I focus on helping my students not only learn HOW to solve a problem, but on finding a solution that makes sense to them, and helping them understand WHY that solution works!
