...These classes were a bit fast-paced in comparison to those during the main school year. In one summer we would hold classes for two entirely different groups of algebra pupils. In my stretch of tutoring it has become very clear that there is no sole strategy for helping all students to absorb information or to understand a concept.

...While at UIC I have gained experience tutoring college-level mathematics, from basic Calculus to Real Analysis and Abstract Algebra. I have also been a TA for Business Calculus and Calc I and II, and I am a lecturer for a basic Algebra course during the summers. I decided to go back to graduate school so that I can become a math professor, and hopefully pass along my love of the subject.
