James S. ...I played trombone for a semester in high school. I played it for a few concerts and I taught classes on it when my director allowed me to cover for him. It was a fairly simple instrument to learn and I did not even require a position chart to learn the instrument as it was easy to use math and common knowledge of another instrument to determine the positions.
