I am a British citizen and I am a recent immigrant to the US. I have a degree in international relations from the London School of Economics, and for most of my life I have worked as a writer. I have had several books published by mainstream publishers, and I have written articles in the UK national press.

...It seems an odd combination, but upon inspection, is not as odd as it seems. Math and Science are the means we use to communicate the nature of our world to one another. Having a better understanding of math gives us a better understanding of our natural world.

...I feel that I am patient and understanding when it comes to students who struggle in school. I try to take a hands-on approach when it comes to math and science. Word problems are always a struggle for people, and I believe that the more we practice and understand what it is a question is asking, the better we can do in the subject matter.
