...My experience includes teaching students in urban, suburban, magnet, private, and public schools; teaching AP level, honors level, college prep level, and conceptual level courses; and teaching students with a variety of learning styles. I know that students learn by doing, not by listening. My tutoring sessions are guided by "doing", with explanations and encouragement as needed.

It is my responsibility, in response, to answer those questions and find a new way of explaining the problem so he/she does understand it. I believe a student should be able to "talk" mathematics as well as "write" it.
