As a therapist, I saw so many bright children who just needed to be taught outside of the box new and special ways to learn. Mostly I loved learning the pieces, mostly the famous ones that I had heard before (my favorite was The Entertainer). I would play that for whoever had a free ear. I have won several awards at Pasadena City College, like Freshman and Sophomore Honors, Piano Accompanying Award, and the Robert Westerbeck Scholarship.
